DARSONVALIZATION
This is a treatment that uses high-frequency currents, i.e. d'Arsonval currents (hence the name darsonvalization). Its action causes blood vessels to dilate, which in turn improves blood supply to the skin and makes it better nourished. Darsonvalization is also used to disinfect skin (especially acne-prone skin) and in cases of increased seborrhea (it reduces the secretory activity of the sebaceous glands). The action of these currents is most often used after intensive cleansing treatments or after skin punctures.
WHO IS THE DARSONVALIZATION TREATMENT RECOMMENDED FOR?
The treatment is especially recommended for people with oily and acne-prone skin and those who struggle with the problem of increased seborrhea not only on the face, but also on the scalp and back.
INDICATIONS:
- Acne vulgaris
- Seborrheic skin lesions
- Oily and combination skin
- Various forms of baldness
- After facial cleansing and hair removal treatments
- Poorly nourished skin
- Soothes irritations
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT LOOK LIKE?
The darsonvalization procedure uses a device that produces high-frequency current and high voltage but low intensity. An electrode with a so-called pad at the end, through which current flows, is placed on the treatment surface. Pelota causes sparks in contact with the skin, which in turn generates heat reaching the tissues. Thanks to it, the blood supply to the skin, its metabolism and nutrition are improved. In the area of the pellet, ozone is produced, which has a disinfecting and bactericidal effect. This treatment is completely painless.
TREATMENT FREQUENCY
Darsonvalization is most often performed as a complement to other treatments, but it can also be an independent treatment performed 2-3 times a week.
